Oral Surgery Dental Assistant

We are currently seeking an experienced _ oral surgery, dental assistant _ to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our practice.
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus
Qualifications:
1 year of experience as a dental assistant required
Oral surgery experience required
Sedation Certification required
Radiography certification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
Familiarity with Dentrix, or other dental software systems is a plus

Responsibilities:
Assisting the oral surgeon during dental surgeries and procedures, including extractions, implant placements, bone grafting, and biopsies.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
Taking and developing dental x-rays, 3D scans, and digital images as required by the oral surgeon.
Educating patients on pre-operative and post-operative care instructions, including medication usage, diet restrictions, and oral hygiene practices.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Assisting in maintaining and ordering dental supplies, equipment, and inventory.
