Job
Summary:

Provides patient services using nuclear imaging modalities. Exercising professional judgment, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. In collaboration with nursing associates and physicians, provides essential patient care. Implements the mission, goals, and standards of practice established by the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Porter Health System. Performs other duties as directed.
Education:

  • Certified in Nuclear Medicine or meet the requirements for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or the Nuclear Medicine Certification Board


Qualifications:

  • Graduate of JRCERT Accredited educational program or equivalent. Diploma Required
  • License with the State of Indiana
  • CPR Certification required within 6 months of employment
  • ARRT Registered Technologist. Radiologic Technologist license in the State of Indiana
  • Nuclear Medicine certification is required
  • Board Eligibility or current registry with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) and licensed in nuclear medicine with the Indiana State Department of Health
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
