Life Services Associate Full-time:
Monday thru Friday 8:
00 am-4:
30 pm Summary The Life Services Associate assists with the daily operations of the Meals on Wheels and Lifeline programs.

Essential Duties/
Responsibilities:
Meals on Wheels Program Activities:
Enters client information into the computer for billing purposes.
Assigns clients to MOW route and makes route cards.
Prepares bags and labels weekly and arranges them in appropriate order.
Delivers meals when necessary.
Records canceled meals.
Picks up signed route slips from Pines Village on a weekly basis.
Produces weekly reports regarding the number of meals received per week.
Distribution of Meals at Pines Village daily Client Services Activities:
Determines eligibility for admission to the program and evaluates appropriateness for continuation of service.
Completes pre-admission assessment.
Coordination Activities:
Serves as agency liaison with Lifeline provider to ensure quality service.
Installs Lifeline Units.
Volunteer Coordination Activities:
Recruits, orientates, schedules and monitors volunteers.
Provides encouragement to and builds rapport among volunteers.
Assists in coordinating volunteer recognition events.
Requirements:
QUALIFIED CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One-year general office experience and previous experience supervising/organizing volunteers and volunteer activities preferred.
Experience working with elderly, disabled, and physically challenged individuals preferred.
General knowledge of nutrition and knowledge of resources for nutrition information preferred.
Must hold and maintain a valid Indiana driver's license and automobile insurance.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
