9K a year 13 days ago 13 days ago 13 days ago As a Program Patient Service Representative, you will be scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and working with data and reports and assisting with troubleshooting calls.
This position works closely with the Remote Patient Monitoring and Food as Medicine programs.
JOB
Responsibilities:
Making calls to patients to schedule Food as Medicine and Remote Patient monitoring enrollments.
Verifies and updates insurance information at every patient visit.
Receives, screens and routes calls to appropriate destination.
Registers new patients in accordance with policies and procedures.
Runs Automatic Eligibility Verifications.
Review schedules to identify patients who will benefit from the programs.
Follows up with Voice mail messages and setting appointments.
Verifying consents are complete for programs and appropriately scanned into patient health record.
Data entry for program participation and tracking of devices.
Maintain any logs relative to the programs.
Assist in device distribution at the various clinics.
Participating in events at the various clinics.
Maintains general knowledge of HealthLinc Patient Resources.
All HealthLinc staff is committed to engage in quality improvement initiatives that align with and support Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH).
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Education/Training High School diploma or equivalent Experience At least 1-3 years of healthcare administrative experience (not required but highly preferred) Skills/Job Requirement Strong customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work well in a team environment Basic math skills needed to process simple payments Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to remain flexible and adaptable Technology Skills Computer and software skills (Phreesia, EHR, Online Sources, etc.
) Multi-line telephone and other office equipment such as printers, fax machines, etc.
DIRECT SUPERVISION:
N/A REQUIRED TRAININGS:
All assigned Relias training.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
