Pharmacy Technician in a hospital settingTypically reports to supervisor or managerReceives and stores incoming medication and suppliesVerifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory recordsStocks and maintains medication dispensing machinesCompounds sterile and non-sterile medications under the direction of a registered pharmacistMay be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department.
This position is rotating days and eveningsRotating holiday and weekend shifts are required.
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-3 years of clinical experience in a related field.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a hospital pharmacy.
Current Indiana pharmacy technician license in good standing and PTCB or equivalent national certification REQUIRED.
