Liaisons with clients and event staff to ensure all aspects of event development meets the customer's expectations, goals, and budget.
2.
Researches and provides strategic and big picture solutions and advice to clients to improve their conferences and aid them in fulfilling their overall conference mission.
3.
Manages and achieves all Client and/or Company driven Key Performance Indicators for all events to ensure client and business goals are met.
4.
Negotiates contracts, generates event proposals and manages event budget to ensure items are within client budget.
5.
Oversees and/or manages the selection of venues, vendors, d cor, entertainment, and audiovisual needs according to client expectation and budget.
6.
Manages the CME requirements for events, including completing CME applications, submitting documentation, obtaining CME grants, and processing reconciliations as needed to ensure compliance.
7.
Manages processes to ensure compliance with ACCME, insurance, legal, health and safety obligations and to provide a safe and compliant event experience for all involved.
8.
Oversees the development and production of database reports, client websites, registration systems, and marketing materials to ensure functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
9.
Creates and leads Run of Show for events to keep all associated parties on schedule.
10.
Manages the production of the event ensuring event runs smoothly and according to schedule.
11.
Handles arising issues and troubleshoots any emerging problems on the event day ensuring customer satisfaction.
12.
Develops and maintains good long-term relationships with hotels, venues and suppliers, to ensure the best value for future projects.
13.
Evaluates events to determine future enhancements to processes, services, and event quality that will continually enhance customer satisfaction and drive business goals.
14.
Delegates projects to other event staff who are capable of meeting the client's needs as needed.
15.
Provides support, education, and mentoring to help grow competency levels within the internal team.
16.
Assists with the final reconciliations and paperwork for the project(s) in line with company processes and procedures.
Requirements:
A.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management or relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
B.
Experience:
3+years of Meeting/Event Planning experience required.
C.
Certification(s):
CMP or HMCC preferred.
D.
Functional Skills:
High attention to detail; ability to research, plan, organize, prioritize, and complete work on-time and accurately.
Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Understands basic finance and working within budgets and KPI's.
E.
Technology Aptitude/Skills:
Strong expertise in Microsoft Office products.
Ability to learn client driven systems such as Cvent, Robly, etc.

Language Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
